"I mean, sure, maybe not just like that. But at my job at Home Depot the other day we did have to figure out how to handle a pretty obnoxious customer who was trying to return stuff he’d so obviously bought at Lowes." 😅
I do not need patience. I yearn for a droplet of hope. Water to douse the fire of despair that engulfs my soul. The arc of the moral universe is long and for now it does not appear to bend toward justice. My heart is troubled, I am afraid and I have no peace nor even a belief that an almighty gives a rats ass about us.
Well this certainly applies to me. Do you remember the song It's Hard to Be Humble by Mac Davis? Fun song, obviously exaggerated, nevertheless makes a good point. Too often I fail to take any other perspective into consideration when there are plenty of other views to regard.
Good knowing you’re still with us John.

Amen!
I need to return to this prayer often. Thank you!
Thanks so much for this prayer, John.
Thank you for everything you write, Paul.

I do know that song! And yes, just like you've said so well.
Wise words John. Peace to you.
And to you, Guy. Good to hear from you.
