Carol McElligott! Did I like MAIL you … cartoons? That I drew? Oh wait. You must mean I passed them to you! Gosh. I’m probably glad you DON’T have them now, so you can’t sue me. Whew.
I enjoyed it. I have never read things from you before (thanks Notes algorithm). I like the way you use language to paint the picture of your cat (I assume this is your cat or a proxy of your cat). The end was just a bit too “tidy” for me but that’s just me. My taste is very idiosyncratic. Look forward to reading more of your pieces.
Excellent read, as always.
I wish I saved the cartoons you sent me in 6th grade class.

Magnificent. What a brilliant start to Mt day.
We’re different kinds of writers, you and I. Except we’re the same
Everybody has to start somewhere. Good for you for even starting.
On another note, how are things in a winterized A town?
COLD!!!
I know. I’m staying in touch. Here, not so much. We’re getting ready to head into summer; translate that as more heat.
First I laughed at the book cover so hard that I startled my cat, then you hit me right in the heart with that ending.
You’re so sweet. Thanks Jendi.
